Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
The subjects of the Endowment span geographic regions and the relations among governments, business, international organizations and civil society. It also focuses on the economic, political, and technological forces driving global change. The Endowment helps develop a tradition of public policy analysis in the states of the former Soviet Union and improve relations between Russia and the United States.
 
Carter Center
Since the Carter Center's founding by President and Mrs. Carter in 1982, the center has produced regular studies and research reports on its work to advance peace and health worldwide. Its working papers and publications provide insight into the practical application of approaches to closing the growing gap between the rich and the poor worldwide--the single biggest challenge facing the world today. The Carter Center, in partnership with Emory University, has been working to distribute its publications library so that it is more easily available to the public and academic community. Center for Comparative Immigration Studies
University of California. CCIS is an interdisciplinary, multinational research and training program devoted to comparative (especially cross-national) work on international migration and refugee movements. Its main intellectual agenda is to systematically compare the U.S. immigration experience - historical and contemporary -- with that of other labor-importing countries in other regions (especially the Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and Western Europe).

Center for International Development
Harvard University. The main function of the center is to bridge the gaps between disciplines and to push forward the science of explaining the sources of and remedies for entrenched global poverty and the political and environmental circumstances that surround it. Center for Security Studies and Conflict Research
The CIS is a joint project of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and the University of Zurich. It specializes in the fields of international relations, security studies, and conflict research. The papers available represent global security issues; security-related aspects of the foreign policy of nations; and transatlantic relations and the architecture of European security.
 
Center for the Study of Democracy
The Center for the Study of Democracy at the University of California, Irvine publishes research papers on democracy. Like the Center itself, the topics may range from the problems of democratic transitions to the expansion of the democratic process in advanced industrial democracies. The series is multidisciplinary in its research approach, as well as diverse in its definition of democratization topics. These papers can be downloaded and printed for classroom use without charge.

The Hellenic Resources Institute, Inc. launched the Hellenic Resources Network, HR-Net, an electronic network based on the Internet with the following objectives: 1) to make the wealth of information available on the Internet easily available to important Greek public policy making institutions.
